I have just gotten into "RAG QUILTING" and it's so much fun. I make "rag" tote bags with quilting squares, having these makes it so much easier. They are so pretty~ I cut a simple fabric for the inside of the bag and save these beautiful ones for the outside!

I love my kindle as much as anyone, but do yourself a favor and buy the real book this time. In the kindle edition you won't get the beautiful photographs and the easy to follow step by step illustrations. Plus, the section on color just isn't the same without the color samples that accompany the text.
Of course, I think the book is a winner--I wrote it! But the kindle edition isn't the full experience.

This is without exeption the best and most helpful book I have read for beginners and established quilters alike. If, like me, quilting if fairly new to you (and you have bought every book under the sun) then this book is invaluable. From exciting colourful choices, and more importantly, to giving the novice the courage to go ahead, use the fabrics you love, and finish your quilt.
However, what makes 3-fabric quilts an exception is the way in which the use of colours and how to mix and balance all kinds of designs and "get it right", is laid out in wonderful illustrations and easy to understand explanations of why we sometimes get it wrong. This is a book for all quilters and I cannot praise it enough.
